Presented is a Lovely Yardley London Powder Compact featuring the Famous "Lavender Sellers" on the center of the lid.
2 1/4" square
The gold tone case has "Yardley London " engraved in the middle. "Yardley London" is also engraved by the powder well.
The vintage compact from Yardley, which features a picture of their famous 'Lavender Sellers' set in the center of the lid. The Lavender Sellers picture was originally used by Yardley to advertise their Lavender products. It was based on a painting from a series called the 'Cries of London' by artist Francis Wheatley.
