    Description

    At first I thought this Pretty Girl compact was in its original box.  It certainly seems so.  But . . . the label on the side of the box reads "Golden Lark Compact."  Perhaps some clerk mixed up the boxes, way back when?
    Box and compact are a perfect fit and in such terrific condition you could pass on this compact as a gift if you like. Powder and puff are both mint.  Vintage original in box.
    The Pretty Girl (Victorian?) has one tiny tiny line on her face-----evident only with use of magnified looking glass or jeweler's loupe.  I have shown this blemish to you here using a "microscopic" photo close-up.
    This compact is an ornate goldstone Heirloom Compact with Creme Puff Translucent Pressed Powder. The front of the compact is decorated with gold floral swags. The Pretty Girl's image sits at the center.
    The box bears its original price tag of .50.
    Dimensions:
    2" across the front
    2.5" from top to bottom, not including the top ring.
    This pretty piece could hang on a chain and would make a lovely locket.
