VINTAGE TIFFANY & CO. STERLING SILVER ART DECO WAVEY ENGINE TURNED COMPACT

Description

A lovely vintage Tiffany & Co. sterling silver Art Deco style compact, made in Italy c. 1950's. Features wavey engine turned pattern to the sterling and double compartment interior; one with mirror and the other with powder. It measures approx. .5"h x 3.25"l x 3.25"w. It's in fair vintage condition, displaying general wear consistent with its age, including some surface scratches and what appear to be tiny dings to the compact exterior (mostly masked by the engine turned pattern), light tarnish, a chip to the interior mirror's beveled glass edge, and also some spots of cloudiness to the mirror - see pictures. The original powder is now mostly gone. Stamped on interior "TIFFANY & CO., STERLING, ITALY, 925." A fantastic vintage piece for the Tiffany collector!
